If you complete a $10,000 transaction for a year and they depart, you have to locate another client and bring in another $10,000, right? If you keep that client pleased and they want to stay, that’s $10,000 more for the following year and you don’t have to struggle to attract a new one.

A customer success manager is needed to keep clients happy for years and generate 10K or more per year. Customer success managers are similar salespeople but take over once the transaction is done. They must make the client happy, ensure they’re utilizing the goods, answer any queries, and even offer them other items and services if needed. The goal is client success, whatever that is. This position is relationship-based.

This is like sales, right? Customer success management isn’t taught in school. They don’t, right? So, it’s all about your soft skills—your ability to handle conflict, deal with people, and be persuasive—much like sales, but you’re helping people succeed after they buy your product or service. The customer success manager position is ideal for persons who appreciate dealing with people but don’t like sales. That may be the right fit if it fits you.

Job #5: Project Manager

Our next position is project manager. If you work at a startup, technology company, or have projects, like creating a new feature in your software, there has to be a person in charge of telling the designer what to do, keeping track of time, and making sure they design things on time. They also have to keep track of the engineers who are managing the project and putting all the resources together. A project manager is crucial, particularly in bigger firms, since someone must monitor everything and ensure it runs smoothly and on schedule.

By doing so, they’ll make better future improvement judgments. Do data analysts require that experience? Not really. I believe it’s enough to know how to utilize Excel sheets and learn the technical stuff on the job.
